Albarino

Albarino (866 planted) is a newcomer to North Georgia. This variety is used in many of the better white wines from Western Spain and Portugal, and wines from these regions have recently gained more recognition in the USA. Albarino is slower to establish than our other varieties but appears to like our river soil and the hot Georgia sun just fine.
