Merlot
A small vineyard (48 vines) of the venerable Merlot variety was
planted in the Spring of 2012. This variety, our first red wine grape,
typically makes full-bodied wines with an earthy tone in flavor. The
vines are thriving during their first year in the ground, and Georgia
wineries have already produced high-quality Merlot wines. Our first
harvest of this variety is expected in 2015.
